Posted on September 6th, 2010
Chase has a new card out that will let you earn up to 40,000 bonus airline miles on Continental Airlines. The card is called OnePass Plus Card.
Here is how the 40,000 bonus miles breaks down. You will earn 25,000 bonus miles after your first purchase using the card. You will earn another 5,000 miles for adding an authorized user to your account. You can then earn another 10,000 points after you have spend $25,000 using the card.
Hitting the $25,000 annual purchasing mark is probably a bit high for most people, but there is no reason you shouldn’t be able to get the 30,000 miles by making a purchase and adding an authorized user.
Some other great benefits of this card are as follows:
- 2 Annual Presidents Club Day Passes
- First Checked Bag FREE
- 2 Annual Travel Discount Certificates
- Special Guest Privileges through The Luxury Hotels & Resorts Collection
Onr thing to note is that there is an $85 annual fee with this card, but it is waived for the first year. It you travel a lot and check bags, the first bag checked free feature will pay for itself.
Don’t forget that since Continental and United Airlines are merging, these miles will be available for use on United once the merger completes.
Take a look at the OnePass Plus Card page for more details and to apply.
