Dollar Savings Direct Online Savings Rate Drops Further to 1.50% APY

In November, we reported that Dollar Savings Direct had lowered its online savings rate. It appears that the rate has dropped again to 1.50% APY from 1.60%.
However, the specifics of the account haven’t changed:
- 24/7 access to your account online
- No monthly fees
- The ability to link to your current checking account
In order to open an account, you must have a personal checking account, live at a legal U.S. address, have a social security number and be 18 or older.
The account requires a minimum deposit of $1,000 to open. Apply online.
