IHOP, Cinnabon and Others Offer Tax Day Freebies

With the tax deadline rapidly approaching, many people are scrambling to file their returns, which is why a number of companies are offering freebies to celebrate the hard work. Bally Total Fitness, IHOP and Cinnabon are among the companies offering free goods on or around April 18.
Free Stuff Available Around the Country
Reports from Kiplinger and U.S. News and World Report have revealed that a number of companies around the country are offering freebies on or around tax day. Here are some to make note of:
Food and goodies:
- Arby’s: Arby’s is giving away its signature curly fries on April 15 between 11 a.m. and 10 p.m. Print a coupon on their Facebook page (www.facebook.com/arbys).
- Cinnabon: On April 18, Cinnabon is offering two free Classic Cinnabon Bites from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. as a part of its Tax Day Bites promotion.
- IHOP: For the entire month of April, IHOP is letting children 12 and under get one free meal with each paying adult from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.
- MaggieMoo’s Ice Cream and Treatery: On April 18 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., MaggieMoo’s will offer a free mini ice cream sundae featuring the new Crumb Cake Fundae (includes cinnamon Hostess Streusel Cake, cinnamon “Cinamoo” ice cream, caramel sauce, mixed nuts and whipped cream).
- McCormick & Schmick’s: On April 15, McCormick & Schmick’s is offer drink specials during its Early Filers Happy Hour. Then on April 18, it will host an all-day Tax Relief Procrastinators Celebration featuring a variety of $10.40 entrée specials (bar only) and tax relief drink specials. Those who visit both days will receive a $10.40 dining certificate for a future date.
- P.F. Chang’s: P.F. Chang’s is offering a 15-percent discount on all dine-in and carry-out orders on April 18 (happy hour items and alcohol excluded).
Activities:
- HydroMassage: HyrdroMassage locations nationwide are offering free massages between April 14 and April 18. Get a coupon at www.hyrdromassage.com/taxday.htm and call ahead to schedule.
- Bally Total Fitness: Anyone can work out for free on April 18. Members are able to sign up from April 15 through April 21 for a free 30-minute personal training session. Also, the gym is offering a Tax Day membership special that discounts the two-year Premier National Access membership to $418 (a $61 discount).
Other:
- DirectTV: DirectTV is offering free access to HBO and Cinemax between April 15 and April 18.
- Office Depot: The supply store is shredding up to five pounds of paper and offering to copy 25 pages of tax document free of charge. You must bring this coupon in before April 23.
Don’t forget that taxes are not due today. Instead, the deadline has been extended three days through Monday. So take the weekend to prepare and file then get out there and enjoy your celebration treats.
