Collins Community Credit Union is offering an attractive interest rate for their reward checking account called Advantage Checking. This money in the bank deal is tiered and has the following current checking account rate:

  • 3.00% APY for balances up to $25,000
  • 1.00% APY for balances of $25,000.01 to $50,000
  • 0.50% APY for balances of $50,000.01 and above
  • 0.10% APY base interest rate

You can start earning this best interest rate when you meet the credit union’s checking account requirements. Here are the following list of the monthly requirements:

  • subscribe and receive e-statements
  • sign up and access online banking with bill pay every month
  • setup at least one direct deposit into your checking account
  • make at least 15 purchases using your debit card

If you did not meet the requirements during the qualifying cycle, you will earn their base interest rate on the entire balance of your checking account. Y

You can earn an interest rate of 3.00% APY for balances of up to $25,000 and 0.35% APY for the portion of the balance above $25,000.
